Edited by Mallika Dutt, Leni Marin and Helen Zia

Based on a panel discussion presented by migrant women at the Fourth World Conference on Women held in Beijing in 1995, Organizing Strategies documents organizing efforts relevant to all those engaged in social change work, including:
  • immigrant women, to advance their own organizing
  • human rights activists, to incorporate a more holistic approach to their work
  • women's groups, to understand the needs of migrant women
  • labor organizations, to ensure that migrant women's work is incorporated into their organizing.
This publication is another step toward understanding the complex nature of issues affecting migrant women.
