The safety card offers helpful suggestions for patients to improve their health and safety, and lists specific health problems that may be the result of chronic stress from an abusive relationship. It also offers women who are in abusive relationships guidance on talking with their children. The backside of the card refers people to the National Hotline on Domestic Violence for further support.
